Cotton Print                                        1/3 yd (30.48cm) outer fabric

Cotton Print for lining                         1/3 yd (30.48cm) for lining

Fusible batting                                    10” x 24” (25.40cm x 60.96cm)

Grosgrain ribbon, 3/8” (.96cm) wide  1 1/3 yd (121.92cm)

We used fabrics from the Kaffe Fassett Collective for FreeSpirit : Carpet, Pastel, QBGP001.PASTE and Circles, Pastel, QBGP002.PASTE for the lining.

  1. Great project for a child for Mother’s Day.
    I showed it to my granddaughter and she pointed out that the instructions say to press the edges after turning the cozy right side out but don’t tell you to sew up the turning opening.
    She plans to put a few stitches below the spout and the handle so it hugs the pot better. She commented that, since we chat over tea, it’ll keep the tea hot longer.
    I’m thrilled to see that she read the instructions through before deciding to make the project. Not something every newish stitcher wants to do!!
