Project Run & Play (PR&P) is the kid bloggers version of Project Runway. Designers submit highly creative costumes to be judged by “celebrity” judges, and readers vote too. There’s plenty to ooh and aah over, lots of inspiration, and ample amounts of super cute kid looks, which is why we’re frequent visitors to the site. It’s also a one-stop look at all the creative sewing bloggers out there. Here are just a few of our favorites from the site.

Winter Equestrian Costume

As of this writing, PR&P is engaged in a Winter Wonderland Challenge. This equestrian (oh what fun it is to ride!) costume is too much! We love the detailing on the pants and how comfy, cozy the whole outfit looks. Visit A Jennuine Life for more information about creating this winter outfit.

Brother & Sister Formal Wear

PR&P also recently announced its themes for Season B. You can see the list and deadlines here. Shwin & Shwin dreamed up this adorable formal wear for a stylin’ brother-sister duo for the All Star Season. We love the amount of detailing put into these garments—faux back pockets on the trousers (great for easily annoyed young ones who can’t stand bunched up pocket linings), the hand-beading on the girl’s top, and the pleated skirt. Visit Shwin & Shwin for more information about this look.

Mod Look For Girls

Here’s another favorite, from Season 7: Signature Style. Emma & Mona won first place for this mod, chic dress and jacket. What birthday girl wouldn’t love this Chanel-inspired look?

Mad For Plaid Look

Some of the themes, like Mad For Plaid, are inspired by runway fashions. The results? Super fun mini fashion created just for kids. Check out the details on how this plaid-inspired look for twins was created on Lexi Made.

Candy-Inspired Look For Girls

Other themes are simply creative, like this Candy-Inspired Challenge. Love this colorful 90s look made by Emma & Mona.

There’s always an inspiring contest going on over at Project Run & Play, so head on over and cast your vote for your favorite lovable costumes and outfits—and, perhaps, be inspired to enter your own.
