There’s nothing better than a day of sun, surf, and sand. However, juggling baby sometimes makes this outing more of a challenge. But that’s not to say it can’t be done! Some of my favorite memories with my little ones involve the first time their toesies touched the sand or their first glimpses of the big blue sea. In fact, we still have seashells from some of our earliest family vacations laying around our house as momentos. Anyways, my point is that beaching it with baby can be fun and easy—you just need the right gear! Here are a few projects that will arm you with the essentials and let you focus on what really matters: time spent together.
Let’s beach it, baby!
How perfect is this DIY Drawstring Beach Bag from A Field Journal? Everyone knows drawstring bags make the perfect beach bags, but this one takes the cake. Love the striped fabric and drawstring cord.
This Here Comes The Sunhat Pattern from Shwin and Shwin reminds me of a hat I use to wear as a kid! The oversized look makes it even cuter (if that’s even possible).
Everyone could use a Roll-Up Towel Beach Bag! Thankfully, Very Dark Horse came through for us with this awesome tutorial. It’s the best product hybrid since the spork!
This Easy-Sew Inflatable Pillow via Martha Stewart looks like the most comfortable (and dare I say, easiest?) beach set up possible. Instead of lugging around a lounge chair, just pop one of these babies in your bag and make a mad dash to your favorite spot in the sand!
