Heart Bookmark

Valentine’s crafts are fun to make because they’re typically pretty easy to do, don’t take a lot of time, and you get to use felt in red and pink—so fun. It’s such a sweet holiday for children to participate in too, which is why we often think of sewing gifts for the classroom. After all, why hand out those paper cards from the drugstore when you can make a heart-shaped bookmark or a felted valentine letter instead? Of course handmade gifts are great for adults too. Here are 6 of our favorite projects to help you decide what to make this year.

  1. I just wanted to share a different “Heart” idea that I have on my blog. It’s a two part post, but you can find the first one at

    • Thanks for sharing!

    • Nice card. Who doesn’t have lots of fabric scrapes stashed away? Could use any shape for cards. Dog or cats shapes, etc. I am going to make the heart shape for Feb 14th. Also am thinking of using my Sizzix dies and cutting out some scrappy bird shapes to add to pillows….thanks for your posts .
