Gertie & the exposed zipper

I’ve written about centered zippers, lapped zippers, and invisible zippers here, so I think it’s time to venture into exposed zippers! The new printed and metallic zippers by Coats and Clark are just too cute to keep hidden.

For my last appearance on PBS’s It’s Sew Easy, I showed how to apply an exposed zipper on a pencil skirt, and now we have the video to share with you. I like this method because it gives you a neat finish both inside and out. I hope you enjoy it!
