Sewing Summit Round-Up

Last week we had so much fun at Sewing Summit. We met sewing and quilting bloggers face-to-face that we knew “on-line”.

It’s so much fun to see what other’s have made. We snapped a picture of this great tote belonging to one of the attendees.  It sums up three big trends that we saw–Hexagons, hand embroidery and big stitch quilting.

 A highlight was Joel Dewberry as guest speaker at the luncheon. He revealed his new sewing patterns and his latest collection for FreeSpirit Fabrics, Notting Hill.

 We also had fun at the Girl’s Night Out put together by Jessica from Me Sew Crazy. She made everyone these hand embroidered hoops with their logo. Incredible.
