Stylo Magazine

Jessica Abbott, of the Sewing Rabbit, and Celina Bailey, of Petit à Petit & Family, have teamed up to create STYLO, a new stylish magazine full of interviews with designers, tutorials, and photography that will make you want to pick up a needle and thread to create your own kidswear.

Here’s a look at Issue One. We hear issue two is going to be even more amazing: more trend reports and indie designers. Check out this preview, then head on over to STYLO for details about the patterns shown here and to sign up for the newsletter and check out more handcrafted goodness!

The fashion in STYLO spans from tiny tots to big kids and covers international makers. This cardigan pattern by Blank Slate Patterns is a must sew.

The magazine features sophisticated looks, like this Tuilleries dress by Sewing in No Man’s Land, and playful projects and patterns too, so you’ll have no trouble finding sewing inspiration to match your kiddo’s unique personality.

Here’s the Oliver + S winter hood sewn up in fur. I can’t wait to make five of these — one for each kiddo.

The fabric matching ideas are so inspirational that just look at the magazine will convince you to to make everything in it. Love the gold flare added to these otherwise basic patterns.
