The Internet certainly has no shortage of creative bloggers out there—some are dedicated exclusively to sewing and some dabble in other creative ventures as well. We love pointing out those who use their skills to bring to life the truly exceptional projects that you’ll want to make and pass along to friends and family. Maker*Land is one such blog. Created by Lainie Wicks, a mother in Australia, it’s chock full of wonderful content. One of our recent favs is this super cute hedgehog pincushion. 1. My youngest son was born on Groundhog Day (Feb. 2), so I think I will make one for him to put on top of his chest of drawers for all those pins that come in new shirts! This is just adorable!

  2. Super cute! I need a new pin cushion too hehe! Thank you
